Agrobio's Powermite Control Food 1 L is formulated with prey mites of the Carpoglyphus lactis type in bran, specifically designed to effectively feed predators such as Amblyseius swirskii. It comes in a practical 1 L bottle with a dosing cap that allows for precise application from the very first moment.
Thanks to this alternative food, a rapid establishment and multiplication of predatory mites is achieved, even in initial stages of cultivation or when the environment does not provide sufficient nutritional resources. It is ideal for protected crops vulnerable to pests such as thrips, whiteflies, or spider mites.
More natural and efficient biological control
This solution reduces reliance on pesticides and manual treatments by promoting integrated control based on natural enemies. Powermite Control strengthens the biological defenses of the crop, promoting cleaner, more profitable, and sustainable production, a key element for both organic and conventional growers.
Recommended application and conditions of use
It is recommended to apply between 10 and 50 liters per hectare, depending on the crop and specific conditions. Before use, the bottle should be shaken or rotated horizontally to homogenize its content; then it can be applied manually, by depositing small piles on the leaves, or by suitable dusting machinery.
To ensure its effectiveness, store the product between 14 °C and 18 °C, maintaining the cold chain, without exposing it to direct light or pesticides. The bottle must be used within a maximum of 48 hours after receipt.
