LED for indoor cultivation: maximum energy saving compared to other lighting systems

In the pulsating position, it emits intermittent light pulses, leaving the plant in darkness for seconds. With this position, we start to harness energy, but it is still not the most efficient that LED Grow offers us. We will have light pulses with all LEDs on at once at 200W, consuming about 120W per hour. We will manage to increase the g/W ratio compared to fixed light.

The most usable position is CPM1. This is a program in which it emits intermittent light pulses as in the previous mode, but in this case, it never goes dark. It emits blue and red light pulses separately, turning on the blue ones for a period, and the red ones for another period.

The blue LED consumes about 40-60W, and the red ones give peaks of 200W, which means we have an average consumption of 120W per hour. All the power we send to our plants is absorbed by them, making it the most efficient mode this LED lamp offers for cannabis cultivation and the one we test in our follow-ups. We have obtained more than 1.5 g/W, with 120W, over 190 g, which is a good amount for a home grower.
