Description
Atami Washed & Buffered Cocos: versatile and high-quality substrate
Washed & Buffered Cocos by Atami is a high quality 100% coconut fiber substrate. It stands out for its washing and buffering process, a cleaning technique that guarantees the elimination of sodium and potassium salts present in the coconut, preventing them from being assimilated by the plant and avoiding an undesired increase in electroconductivity.
This coco substrate is not fertilized, which makes it a versatile choice for various stages. Due to its EC of less than 0.3%, it is ideal for the early stages of plant life or for cuttings. In addition, its low salt content will allow you to exercise total control over the fertilization of the plants throughout their life cycle; perfect for experienced growers.
Superior moisture retention and aeration
On the other hand, the water retention capacity of this substrate is impressive, while its structure ensures proper aeration, providing a perfect environment for plants and root development. This balance makes it one of the most complete substrates on the market, as it can be used in a multitude of phases with the confidence of providing the right living environment for the healthy and robust growth of individuals.

I've been using coco for a while and this product convinced me. It's clearly well-washed, no initial EC issues. Roots grow excellently and watering control is very good. Has anyone else noticed plants flowering earlier?
