Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40 from the fertilizer brand Atami is a substrate that contains 60% expanded clay and 40% coco fiber, an ideal combination for hydroponic cannabis cultivation, especially with the Autopot system. Thanks to its composition, it allows for greater root development.
Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40 based on expanded clay and coco fiber
Hydro Rockz Cocos is a mix of expanded clay and coco fiber, perfect for boosting root system growth and improving performance in hydroponic crops.
On one hand, expanded clay or clay balls facilitate drainage by barely retaining water and improve root anchorage. Coco fiber, on the other hand, has a good balance between water retention capacity and oxygenation. By mixing both substances, an ideal growing medium for hydroponics is achieved. Expanded clay reduces the risk of root rot, and coco fiber retains the necessary amount of water to maintain humidity levels in the root zone.
For soil cultivation, it is advisable to use the product as a base at the bottom of the pots, placing two fingers of Hydro Rokz before adding the substrate, in order to improve drainage and root oxygenation.
How to use
This substrate can be used in different ways:
- Place at the bottom of the pot to facilitate water drainage.
- Fill pots to grow directly on Hydro Rokz.
- You can mix the soil substrate with Hydro Rokz to make the environment more aerated, highly recommended in humid places.
