Coco Mix by GB Nutrients: A Great Multi-Purpose Substrate
GB Nutrients' Coco Mix substrate is an exceptional choice for growers seeking a versatile and high-quality medium for their plants. This blend is formulated from a combination of coconut fiber and peat, making it an extremely adaptable option for various purposes across all types of crops.
One of the key advantages of Coco Mix is its versatility. It can be used in multiple ways: as a standalone substrate for a complete potted plant growth cycle, as a base for hydroponic systems, or even mixed with other components to create a customized substrate blend tailored to your plants’ specific needs.
Excellent Water Retention and Aeration
However, where Coco Mix truly excels is in its medium-to-high water retention capacity and excellent aeration. This combination provides an ideal balance for root development, allowing plants constant access to oxygen while maintaining an appropriate level of moisture. This translates to healthy and high-quality growth.
Lastly, thanks to its mentioned properties, Coco Mix has the ability to increase production by up to 20%. Its low electrical conductivity (EC) requires more frequent watering and nutrient delivery to plants, resulting in improved crop yields. Furthermore, by reducing the chance of pests due to its sterile nature, Coco Mix contributes to maintaining a healthier growing environment.
