Description
High Porosity Cocos by Atami is a substrate formula made of perlite and coco coir, which improves oxygen intake and promotes a healthier and stronger root system.
Atami is adding this great substrate to their wide range of good quality products aimed at increasing yields and enhancing plant aromas.
High Porosity Atami features a unique formula
As a general rule, but specially in rainy areas, cannabis plants require a substrate as airy as possible. This is because the roots need, apart from water, oxygen in order to grow healthy. Plenty of studies suggest that root development is crucial for an optimum crop and materials with different properties are quite often used to oxygenate the cultivation medium.
For this reason, Atami is launching this new substrate formulated with coco coir and perlite, in order to offer a cultivation medium with exclusive properties. A perlite and coco coir mixture increases root air flow by 30%. This improves plants oxygen intake, which means the plant will have more energy to develop stronger and faster roots.
This substrate is available in 50 L sacs.

You can really notice the porosity, the water drains perfectly and the plants don't get stressed. It's the secret so it doesn't get compacted. I'm amazed at how well they take it.
