Description
The 35 mm Jiffy7 Coco is an efficient and fast cultivation system for cannabis plants, suitable for both germinating seeds and rooting cuttings. This pressed seedbed made of 100% natural coconut fiber is disc-shaped and lined with a thin biodegradable net. Once moistened, it expands, deepening the hole in its center. It includes small doses of fertilizers that provide balanced nutrition to the plants, as well as proper aeration and better water drainage for healthy and rapid growth.
The main advantage of these highly porous pellets is that they do not require transplanting, as they can be placed directly into the final pot once the seeds have germinated. This is possible because they serve as a substrate for the plants during their first days of life. In this sense, it minimizes the stress that the roots would suffer during transplanting from the temporary pot to the final one.
35 mm Jiffy7 Coco for germinating seeds and rooting cuttings
The method of use for the Jiffy 7 Coco is truly simple, as it only requires soaking the discs in irrigation water (with a pH of 5.8 to 6.5 and, if possible, mineral or osmosis water) for about 3-5 minutes. The pellets will expand to a cylindrical shape, and then you must get rid of excess moisture before inserting the seed or cutting you are going to cultivate. Once this is done, you will have a sterile and compact substrate to start cultivating your plants.
