Description

The 1000W Black Ultra GB Lighting Dimmable LED System is the most powerful luminaire in the BLACK ULTRA line, created for growers looking for a professional LED capable of performing in demanding indoor grows. It is an option designed for installations where light intensity, uniformity, and penetration capacity are key to achieving well-developed plants and high-yield flowering.

Unlike the lower models in the range, this version incorporates 10 LED bars and a total of 3360 chips, which allows for broad and homogeneous light distribution over the crop. This distribution helps reduce areas with less illumination and ensures that plants receive a more balanced intensity across the entire cultivated area.

Its spectrum combines 3000 K Warm White, 5000 K Full Spectrum, 660 nm Deep Red, 730 nm Far Red, and 450 nm Blue, a blend designed to accompany the plant throughout its entire cycle. The spectral base close to 3200 K is especially oriented to boost flowering, promoting denser flowers, better floral fattening, increased resin production, and more efficient maturation.

The contribution of 5000 K Full Spectrum helps maintain healthy and vigorous plants, while the 450 nm blue is fundamental for vegetative development and rooting. Additionally, it promotes more uniform growth, with shorter internodes, stronger roots, and more compact structures.

Furthermore, the combination of 660 nm Deep Red and 730 nm Far Red allows for the well-known Emerson Effect, helping the plant to better utilize available light during phases of higher demand.

All of this is integrated into a dimmable LED system, with a completely black finish and BLACK ULTRA aesthetic, designed for those seeking a powerful, professional luminaire ready for high-level indoor grows.

Performance and Spectrum of the Black Ultra 1000 W

The Black Ultra 1000 W achieves a PPF of 2700 µmol/s and a luminous efficacy of 2.8 µmol/J, offering high light emission with efficient energy utilization.

Its 10 LED bars integrate a total of 3360 chips, distributed to provide broad and uniform illumination over the plant canopy. Additionally, its full spectrum allows it to be used during growth and flowering, while intensity regulation prevents it from always operating at maximum power when not necessary.

The combination of white, blue, red, and far-red light helps achieve more compact plants, better plant structure, and more intense flowering. Being dimmable, it also allows adapting the light intensity according to the cultivation stage, avoiding always working at maximum power when not necessary.

0-10 V Regulation, External Control, and Installation

The Black Ultra 1000 W incorporates a 0-10 V intensity regulator to adapt the lighting to each cultivation phase. You can start with reduced intensity and progressively increase it according to plant development.

It also features RJ12 connection and EXT mode, allowing it to be integrated into compatible external control systems. If several luminaires are connected to the same controller, all selectors must be set to the EXT position.

The driver is integrated, and the structure can be unfolded up to 180°. Thanks to its Plug & Play system, installation is quick and easy.

Its passive cooling system operates without fans or moving parts, reducing noise and simplifying maintenance.

FAQs about the 1000W Black Ultra GB Lighting Dimmable LED System

What type of cultivation is the Black Ultra 1000W designed for?

It is designed for demanding indoor grows where a maximum power luminaire is sought, with good light distribution and the capacity to handle high-yield productions.

Why does it include 730 nm Far Red?

The 730 nm Far Red works together with the 660 nm Deep Red to activate the Emerson Effect, an interaction that helps improve the plant's light utilization.

Is it recommended for beginner growers?

It can be used by a beginner grower, but it is more oriented towards users with some experience or demanding indoor grows. As it is a 1000W LED, it is advisable to know how to properly adjust the intensity, the distance from the plants, and the temperature, ventilation, and humidity conditions.

How much does the Black Ultra 1000 W LED System consume?

At maximum power, its nominal electrical consumption is 1000 W, approximately equivalent to 1 kWh for every hour of operation. With a 12-hour photoperiod, it would consume around 12 kWh daily, while with 18 hours, the approximate consumption would be 18 kWh daily. By reducing the intensity using the regulator, consumption also decreases according to the selected level.

Is it advisable to always use it at 100% power?

Not necessarily. The ideal is to adapt the intensity according to the cultivation phase and the plants' response. In initial stages, it may not be necessary to work at maximum power, while in flowering, a higher intensity can be utilized if the crop is well prepared.

How does the Black Ultra 1000 W manage heat?

The equipment uses passive cooling, without fans or moving parts. However, a 1000 W luminaire generates heat during operation, so it is necessary to maintain good extraction, air renewal, and temperature control.
