Rockwool plugs are one of the best rooting systems; they work perfectly when used correctly. They have an artificial molecular structure that’s perfect for plant rooting; it has the perfect air/humidity combination that allows roots to grow incredibly strong. Use along Water Treatment Products and get great results.
Most Common Rockwool Plug Mistakes
The most common mistake that growers make is squeezing these plugs to get rid of excess water – this is a mistake. If you squeeze rockwool it loses a lot of its air and humidity retention qualities. Simply shake the plug after wetting it to get rid of excess water. Remember to adjust the pH and soak them for 24h in a 5.5pH solution.
Once you’ve prepared them correctly, you’re ready to plant your seeds and stick in your clones. These plugs are available by the unit.
