Sweet Cherry Pie® (SWS92)
Origins of this variety
This powerful genetic comes from two high-caliber American clones: Cherry Pie and Gelato. This feminized variety inherits various characteristics from its parents. Among them, we find its elegant and extraordinary purple color, as well as a fine layer of resin that surrounds these wonderful jewels.
From Cherry Pie (Grand Daddy Purple x Durban Poison), it inherits a sweet aroma with a strong cherry taste. Likewise, it stands out for the production of beautiful, dense buds covered in a fine resinous layer. On the other hand, its predecessor Gelato (Sunset Sherbet x The Mint Cookies) guarantees an intense fruity flavor of orange and blueberries with woody hints.

Sweet Cherry Pie
How to grow Sweet Cherry Pie®
With vigorous yet compact growth, this strain produces beautiful, dense, and heavy buds, full of aromatic trichomes. Its flowers can show reddish and purple tones in both flowers and leaves, an inheritance from its ancestor, Grand Daddy Purple.
Indoors, Sweet Cherry Pie® grows compactly, creating a large, strong stem from which numerous branches emerge. Likewise, the yield can exceed 350 g/m² after a flowering period of between 55 and 65 days, provided that top-quality fertilizers are used to provide good nutrition. For its cultivation, a density of 9 to 12 plants per m² is recommended under optimal environmental conditions. This strain grows to 1.2–1.4 meters in height.
If grown outdoors, the harvest can be collected in late September or early October in the Northern Hemisphere, with a considerable production that can reach up to 500 g/m². With proper and meticulous treatment, these plants grow between 2 and 2.5 meters in height. When they begin to mature, about two weeks before cutting, a root flush should be performed—a superior watering that allows for the cleaning of all types of mineral salts from the substrate.
By performing this process, a clean harvest with an incredible flavor is achieved. Likewise, it is advisable to perform these flushes at the right time, as doing it earlier than recommended results in lower production.
Relaxing effect and fruity flavor
With a flavor and aroma reminiscent of forest fruits, raspberries, or blueberries, and sweet nuances similar to the aroma of freshly baked cookies. A slight acidic taste, similar to lemon, can also be appreciated, with earthy nuances that create a unique and incomparable taste.
Regarding its effects, Sweet Cherry Pie® produces a long-lasting relaxing and sedative impact. This 75% indica-dominant feminized variety contains between 18% and 25% THC and 0.5% CBD, making it perfect for stimulating all kinds of creative activities.
