Description
Purple Punch OG is a potent hybrid with a clear indica predominance, born from two clones, Purple Punch strain ( Larry OG x GrandDaddy Purple) and Star Killer (Skywalker OG Kush x Rare Darkness #2). These clones are well-known in the American West Coast, as well as in the rest of the world, and have received various prizes such as the High Times Cannabis Cup.
Sweet Seeds, with HQ in Valencia (Spain), has won different competitions, such as Expocannabis, Spannabis and Spannabis Sur. Some of their feminized, auto flowering and regular seeds have also won numerous prizes, like for example Cream Caramel, Black Jack, Green Poison and Big Devil XL Auto.
How to grow Purple Punch OG marijuana seeds
Learn to grow Purple Punch OG indoors
It is important that during its growth phase you establish an 18 h light/ 6 h dark schedule. Once it's time for the plants to flower, swap to 12h/12h. To accomplish this, there are different products that can do it for you. For example temporizers, this way you can control exactly how many hours of light your plants receive.
With proper care and treatment during their different vital cycles, your plants will yield around 480 grams per square meter, after a flowering period of 8 weeks. In terms of height it will barely reach the meter.
Learn to grow Purple Punch OG outdoors
If you are going to grow this strain outdoors, it's convenient to use a good substrate, for example rich in White Perlite. This 100% natural component proceeding from volcanic glass promotes proper substrate aeration and water retention. You can also use clay pebbles at the bottom of the flower pots, so that the soil doesn't become compressed on the lower areas and prevents fungi from rotting the roots.
Outdoors you can yield up to 600 g dry per plant, and it will be ready for harvest by mid September. This strain is perfect to grow under any type of climate, thanks to its resistance to fungi and other plagues.

Without a doubt my favourite strain. She has 1 week left until harvest and despite some complications she fought on like a warrior. Her intense sweet and fruity aroma is spectacular. I got a phenotype that's barely purple, still it leaves nothing to be desired. Can't wait to taste it!

Will they handle the summer heat well? Or should I have bought a more sativa strain? Does Biobizz light substrate hold more moisture for outdoors than the complete mix?
