Homemade pipes with soda cans

Grab an empty soda can, and you can make a simple yet sturdy pipe. However, keep in mind that soda cans are made of tin and aluminum and can be sharp, so handle them carefully.

• First, create a small dent by pressing lightly in the center of the can. 
• Use a pin to poke about 20 holes in the indented area. This will serve as the bowl for the herb.
• Next, use scissors or a screwdriver to make a larger hole on one side of the dented area, which will act as the carb hole.
• Remove the tab from the can so it doesn’t get in the way, and prepare the holes by heating them with a match or lighter to vaporize any chemical residues on the surface of the can. 
• To use this homemade pipe, place the herb in the dented area and bring the drinking hole to your mouth. 
• Cover the carb hole with your finger, light the herb, inhale the smoke, and slowly release the carb hole. 

Homemade pipes with fruit

You can also make a pipe using fruit to enjoy an even more unique experience. The best fruit for this is an apple, as it is firm, fleshy, and easy to work with.

Homemade pipe with a plastic bottle

With an empty plastic bottle, you can also make a very functional and easy-to-make pipe. 

• The first step is to make a hole near the bottle’s mouth, which will be the opening where you’ll smoke. You can apply your mouth directly, but it’s much more comfortable to use a straw or a similar tube. 
• Remove the cap and fill the bottle with water, a little more than halfway, being careful that the water does not reach the inhalation hole. 
• Next, place some aluminum foil over the bottle’s mouth, shaping it into a bowl. Use a needle to poke about 6 holes.

• Remove the cap. In this case, the bottle’s mouth will also serve as the smoking mouthpiece.

• You need a medium or large plastic bottle, such as a 1.5-liter one, and a smaller one that will be placed inside the larger one. 
• Cut off the bottom of the smaller bottle, about 6 cm from the base. The more distance there is to the bottle’s mouth, the bigger the hits will be.
• Cut the bottom of the larger bottle about halfway or slightly higher. Then, fill it with water and place the smaller bottle inside. 
• Create a bowl using aluminum foil (remember to poke holes with a pin on the surface) and place it over the mouth of the smaller bottle.
• To smoke, do the following: light the marijuana while slowly lifting the smaller bottle until it is only half-submerged. You will see the inside start filling with smoke. Wait until it fills completely.
• When the smaller bottle is full of smoke, remove the aluminum foil bowl and place your mouth over the opening to inhale. The hit will be huge, which is why we said this method is for experienced smokers.
