Description
La Jefa from the Super Strains seed bank is a magnificent producer of large-caliber flowers, whose genetic stabilization has been achieved by hybridizing a Mexican sativa and an Afghan indica. This combination of extraordinary landraces guarantees vigorous and robust specimens, which produce dense and heavy buds that grow on both the central stem and the rest of the prominent lateral branching.
This fast-flowering feminized variety exhibits high THC levels, guaranteeing multiple psychoactive cerebral sensations, as well as long-lasting physical calming effects. Furthermore, this renowned Dutch bank has enhanced the aromatic and gustatory qualities of both parents, resulting in a strain with a distinct exotic touch, featuring pronounced fruity and herbal nuances. The quality of Super Strains' feminized seeds is accredited, thanks to numerous awards won since the 90s in renowned competitions such as the Highlife Cannabis Cup.
How to grow La Jefa cannabis seeds?
Learn to grow La Jefa indoors
Regarding indoor cultivation of La Jefa, it is worth noting that it is a photoperiodic variety that does not require precise treatments to achieve a respectable yield of about 450-500 g/m². It also exhibits a medium size and great robustness, exemplified by a compact, bushy structure from which lateral branches emerge, populated with bright green leaves and dense satellites covered in resin glands.
On the other hand, the growth period for this variety will be somewhat longer than for other genetics with similar characteristics, ranging between 18-22 days. In addition, the flowering phase will extend up to 9-10 weeks, when the amber coloration of the trichomes indicates the optimal degree of maturity to harvest a crop that ensures the desired effects.
Learn to grow La Jefa outdoors
Regarding outdoor cultivation, this feminized genetic maximizes its considerable resistance to different types of pests in warm and dry climates, although due to its compact structure, it is more susceptible to fungal proliferation in places with excessively high humidity levels. In this regard, to combat different phytopathogens such as powdery mildew and downy mildew, it is advisable to use preventive products such as Miconabis, with the aim of activating the plants' defense mechanisms.
By using these types of solutions, as well as other products aimed at increasing the final yield of the harvest, it can exceed 600 g/plant, with the optimal time for cutting being mid-October in the northern hemisphere, and mid-April in Latin America.

The most easily detectable taste nuances are reminiscent of pineapple and even mango, while intermingling with a comforting eucalyptus flavor, which gives it a refreshing touch.
Effects
One of the main qualities of this Super Strains variety, due to its impressive THC percentage close to 20%, are its intense cerebral effects, capable of generating deep and long-lasting sensations of euphoria and positivity. Gradually, this atmosphere of energy will turn into mental peace and physical relaxation, making it a recommended genetic for recreational smokers, whether accompanied by friends or a partner, or even alone to enjoy a carefree afternoon.
