The feminized Secret Meetings seed is one of the most outstanding releases from Purple City Genetics' 2023 Golden State Collection. It results from the cross of Waiting Game (Fruity Pebbles OG x MAC1) with Gush Mints, a combination that brings together the best of modern Californian genetics: an explosion of tropical fruits, a creamy and minty background, a robust structure, and truly impressive resin production.
In cultivation, Secret Meetings behaves like a very manageable hybrid sativa: fast growth, strong secondary branching, and good internodal spacing that facilitates ventilation and light penetration. Indoors, it finishes flowering in 9–10 weeks, with yields that can easily exceed 600–650 g/m² in expert hands. Outdoors, in temperate or somewhat cool climates, it is harvested from early to mid-October, exceeding one kilogram per plant in the ground with good management. Organoleptically, it stands out for its pineapple, mango, and citrus perfume on a creamy base with hints of caramel, mint, and a subtle diesel touch, making it a perfect candidate for aromatic extractions and high-end flowers.
Effects of the Secret Meetings Strain
Secret Meetings offers a potent and very complete effect, true to its predominant sativa genotype. The onset is clearly cerebral: a quick high, elevated mood, and a feeling of clean energy that invites conversation, creativity, and enjoying social activities. Many users describe the first puffs as “bright and tropical,” with an agile mind, creative spark, and a more joyful perception of everything around them. When smoked or vaped, the flavor is intense and persistent: a sweet and fruity entrance, with exotic fruit caramel nuances, followed by a creamy sensation and an exhale where a slight diesel and herbal touch is appreciated, courtesy of the MAC1 and Kush/Mints part of the cross. This profile is linked to terpenes such as limonene, myrcene, terpinolene, and caryophyllene. Cultivation of this Strain indoors and outdoors
Secret Meetings is a very grateful and flexible plant to cultivate, suitable for both beginner growers and advanced users looking for genetics with commercial yield. It shows rapid, structured growth with strong secondary branching, which allows for very efficient use of growing space. The medium-to-wide internodal spacing facilitates good canopy aeration, reducing the risk of fungi despite the density of the buds. It responds particularly well to training techniques such as topping, LST, and SCROG, creating multiple homogeneous and heavy colas.
Indoors, with a good lighting system and balanced nutrition, it can exceed 600–650 g/m² after 9–10 weeks of flowering, offering compact, resinous flowers with striking purple hues at the end of the cycle. Outdoors, it adapts well to temperate and even slightly cool climates, where it grows vigorously and can achieve yields exceeding one kilogram per plant in mother soil, with the harvest ready from early to mid-October.
