Honey Runtz is one of Purple City Genetics' most striking strains, part of their modern collections focused on exotic terpenes and high yields. It is born from the cross between Honey Banana and Canal Street Runtz, two genetics known for their enormous aromatic load and a very sweet profile. The result is a feminized sativa that is easy to grow, combining a vigorous and branched structure with a relatively fast flowering time for its sativa dominance, completing the cycle in about 9–10 weeks indoors and ready by mid to late October outdoors.
Its strong point is the sensory experience: honey, candies, and banana cream mix in a very unusual sweet and fruity profile, with smooth and dense smoke. In terms of cultivation, it offers large biomass and returns in extractions (around 5% hash yield), making it a very interesting option for those looking for aromatic flowers and flavor-packed concentrates. The abundance of trichomes, along with its productivity and stability, make it an excellent candidate for both high-quality dried flower and resin extractions, rosin, or dry hash with returns close to 5%.
