Description
The Neptune 45x30x30 cm Grow Bed is a modular grow bed designed to offer roots ample, airy, and continuous space. Its compact format allows working with Living Soil and other substrates without resorting to multiple individual pots.
It combines a high-density breathable geotextile container with a white PVC structure that provides stability and maintains the bed's shape once filled.
With dimensions of 45 × 30 × 30 cm, it offers an approximate maximum geometric capacity of 40.5 liters, making it a particularly interesting option for balconies, terraces, small grow tents, or projects where available space is limited.
One of its main applications is cultivation with Living Soil.
By having a continuous substrate surface, the roots share the same environment, and it is easier to maintain relatively stable humidity conditions. The larger available volume also provides space to develop the biological activity typical of this type of cultivation.
Its design also allows it to be used with other substrates and cultivation systems, so it is not exclusively limited to Living Soil.
The container is made of breathable geotextile, allowing greater air exchange in the root zone than a completely rigid and closed pot.
When roots reach the air-exposed walls, natural air pruning is promoted, reducing the tendency of roots to continue growing in circles around the container.
This helps develop a more branched root system and more uniformly utilize the available substrate volume.
The bed is kept stable by a white PVC tube structure, a lightweight, moisture-resistant, and easy-to-clean material.
Assembly is modular and requires no tools, so it can be easily assembled and disassembled when needed.
Additionally, the system allows for the incorporation of additional tubes to create superstructures and use compatible guiding nets or meshes.
The size of this Grow Bed allows it to be used in both indoor and outdoor installations.
Its 45 × 30 cm surface area is particularly useful on narrow balconies, terraces, patios, small urban gardens, or growing areas where a larger bed would take up too much space. The materials are prepared to work in humid conditions and outdoor use.
Neptune offers a specific watertight tray for the Grow Bed, designed to collect drainage and keep the surface under the bed clean.
The tray is not included and is sold separately, so it can be added only when the installation requires it.
Assembly is simple and requires no tools. First, the PVC structure is assembled on a flat surface, and then the geotextile container is placed inside the frame.
If a drainage tray is to be used, it should be placed before filling the bed. Afterwards, the substrate can be added, avoiding excessive compaction to maintain good aeration.
If the crop requires guiding or support, additional tubes and a compatible mesh can be incorporated over the main structure.
Its dimensions are equivalent to an approximate maximum geometric capacity of 40.5 liters. The actual amount of substrate may be slightly less due to the thickness of the fabric, the shape it takes when filled, and the upper margin left free.
Yes. Its continuous substrate volume and breathable walls make it especially suitable for Living Soil and organic cultivation systems.
Yes. The Neptune Grow Bed is designed for use both indoors and outdoors, including balconies, terraces, and patios.
No. The specific watertight tray is sold separately.
No. Its PVC structure uses a tool-free modular assembly system.
Yes. The structure supports additional tubes and guiding meshes, allowing the bed to be adapted to different support and training systems.
Geotextile allows for greater aeration of the walls and promotes natural air pruning of the roots, reducing the tendency to grow in a spiral within the container.
