OG Kush Strain Origins
OG Kush, meaning Ocean Grown Kush, is a strain that comes from a Lemon Thai x Chemdawg combination, grown during many, many years on the sunny coast of California. The environment in which a strain is developed is incredibly important, as all of the environmental issues that it faces are passed down through breeding; if a plant is bred somewhere rainy and windy, evolution will generally make it easier for this plant to survive such conditions. OG Kush is the result of many years of stabilization, and it’s now one of the most well-known strains on the market, smoked by various VIPs in the world of cannabis like singers, rappers (Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Rihanna…) and Hollywood actors. This is all due to its incredible flavor and high THC levels.
Growing OG Kush Indoors
Indoors it grows nicely; it has a sativa structure even though it’s an indica-dominant strain. It tends to grow out thin and the buds don’t get that large in as far as size; they grow in small, compact balls that are highly resinous due to the cannabinoid content. It has quite an open structure, meaning that four plants is more than enough per square meter and 600w lamp, in 11L flowerpots. You can get around 350-400g after just 56-63 flowering days.
Growing OG Kush Outdoors
Outdoors, these plants grow happily under plenty of hours of direct sunlight and in quality substrate, guaranteeing plenty of nutrients so that your plant can grow as much as possible. It likes medium to high doses of nutrients, so we recommend going slightly over the recommended dose and we also recommend using organic nutrients, such as Bio Flores, in order to increase flavor as much as possible. OG Kush should be ready towards the beginning of October.
OH Kush Strain Properties
When it comes to OG Kush, its flavor is the key point for many smokers. It tastes like a combination of citrus, coffee, earth and diesel; quite a complex taste that will have you coming back for more. The effect it gives is almost immediate – 2 or 3 drags in you’ll begin feeling creative and social, and then later you’ll be thrown into a sensation of relaxation and tranquility.

Ordered in August, back to leave a review in December ;) Very satisfied, 475 g under 600 Watts with 3 weeks veg + 9 and a half weeks 12/12 in hydro. It's a good original OG Kush, very tasty when vaping, potency is definitely there.
