Description
Gelatto Cannabis Seeds
Gelatto is a delicious strain that’s been copied by numerous different seed banks; they’re all looking to get their hands on this beautiful plant. This version comes from the original genetic makeup, Sunset Sherbet x Girl Scout Cookies, specifically the Thin Mint phenotype. Out on the East coast in the US this strain is one of the most sought-after strains, also known as Larry Bird in certain dispensaries.
How to Grow Gelatto Indoors
Indoors, this plant has quite a sativa-like growth, with long branches and plenty of space between leaf-nodes, making it perfect for SCRoG Elastic Trellis Netting. With just 6 plants and a mesh, you can grow an amazing 500g per square meter, creating a precious, delicious and aromatic Screen of Green. You’ll need to give this strain quite a long growth period before flipping the lights in order to push more branches to grow – it takes just 63-70 days to flower.
How to Grow Gelatto Outdoors
When grown outdoors this plant is perfect for humid, sunny places making it perfect for coastal areas, where indicas tend not to do so well. There’s plenty of space between nodes, making it perfect for outdoor areas as long as it gets plenty of space – certain phenotypes can grow up to 3m tall, producing up to 800g each. In order to harvest you’ll need to wait until the end of October, although its amazing yield makes it well worth the wait.
Gelatto Strain Information
It has quite an interesting combination of flavors, which can be citric, sweet and fresh; these flavors have made it what it is today. Its effect is both stimulating and relaxing; the stimulating effect comes into play almost instantly, you'll notice it straight away. However, the relaxing effect comes after a while, slowly invading your entire body with a pleasing relaxing sensation – it can yield THC levels up to 25%.

Updating my review, the plant is amazing, it's already producing loads of resin and it's still in pre-flowering, thank you so much for that great gift GB, next year I want to try different strains but I'm sure at least one of these has a place in my grow, great job GB, we'll see how the final result turns out but it looks very very good, I'll update with the final result if everything ends as I hope, ☺️ best regards.

Got it as a freebie and what an absolute beast it turned out to be, I'll update with the final result later but right now it's almost 2 meters tall transplanted directly into vegetable garden soil, got it super healthy doing prevention with spruzzit for pests and with the compo sprayer for fungi. Next year it definitely has a spot in my grow, total monster, it's stretching right now and no clue how tall it'll get but it's already massive, can't wait for the buds to see how it turns out

very good growth pity that some flowers turned out hermaphrodite, very faint smell, the buds that came out leave a lot to be desired, and for taste I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. on the other hand I grew some girl scout cookies and they turned out very good.
Translated from Spanish
crecimiento muy bueno lastima q algunas flores salieran hermafroditas, olor muy flojo, los cogollos q salieron dejan mucho q desear, y de sabor no se lo aconsejo a nadie. encambio puse unas girl scout cookies y salieron muy buenas.

In cold areas you have to wait until mid-May to plant them, in that respect they are a bit delicate

I'm happy with the quality I got and all, but honestly, I bought gelato and I swear I got amnèsia, and I mean it, not to criticize because I'm happy with grow barato, but it's 100% real amnèsia.
