Description
Jelly Bananen by Exotic Seed is a great quality and feminized hybrid that produces large yields and was obtained by crossing Strawberry Banana x OG Kush. One of the main virtues of this 60% indica and 40% sativa cultivar is its capacity to generate resin around its dense and tight buds. These examples present a pyramidal structure with average internodal distance and a height that can easily duplicate during the flowering period.
The huge amount of trichomes that cover the flowers make this strain very appropriate for BHO, rosin or hash extracts. Its sweet and sugary flavors will be enhanced when consumed using a vaporizer. Regarding its ancestors, Strawberry Banana (Banana Kush x Bubble Gum) is very prestigious in the cannabis industry worldwide, which is an unequivocal sign of its excellent organoleptic quality. On the other hand, OG Kush comes from Hippie Hill Genetics (USA) seeds bank, therefore, it adds a clear and attractive American touch.
How to grow Jelly Bananen marijuana seeds
Learn to grow Jelly Bananen indoors
When grown indoors, 10-11 plants of Jelly Bananen per square meter in 7 L pots assure a yield of around 350/400 g/m2 with just basic care. In order for the yield to be ready for harvesting when the moment arrives, the flowering period needs to last around 9 weeks, after which plants will exhibit shiny dark green flowers coated with a thin layer of trichomes.
Learn to grow Jelly Bananen outdoors
Outdoors, under sunlight, whether it is planted in pots using substrates or straight into the ground, its yield can easily reach 500 g/ per plant once dry. The flowering period will end at the start of October in the northern hemisphere and at the start of April in the southern hemisphere. If preferences are more towards larger yields than enhancing the flavor, using mineral based fertilizers following dosage guidelines to avoid plant over-fertilization is highly advisable. On the other hand, if the main objective is to obtain intense fragrances and flavors, then 100% organic fertilizers, such as Organic Grow, should be chosen. However, in both cases water and fertilizer irrigation should be alternated.
Jelly Bananen flavor and aroma
Flavor and aroma
One of the most interesting traits of this photoperiodic strain is its sweet long-lasting flavors with banana reminiscences. It also features some earthy aromas and herbal influences, both organoleptic kush traits that have been inherited from its predecessors.
Effects
Jelly Bananen produces euphoric and uplifting effects that can be perceived at the start of its consumption but as hours go by, a sense of peace invades the mind and helps overcoming daily problems. This combination of energy and physical relaxation is perfect to take part in interesting conversations and develop creative tasks such as painting, writing or music.

Incredible flavour, I thought it would be the usual one, but this has something different, sweet yet pungent at the same time. And the resin, mamma mia! Looks like it's snowing. Truly top-notch for anyone looking for something special.

Phew, this strain is insane. I didn't think it would get that tall indoors, but what an absolute monster came out. Vigorous growth, and once flowering hit, let me tell you, it started asking for nutrients like crazy. A 10/10.
Translated from Spanish
Ufff, esta variedad es una pasada. Pensé que no iba a pillar tanta altura en el interior, pero menudo pepino ha salido. Crecimiento vigoroso y con la floración ya te digo que se puso a pedir nutrientes a tope. Un 10.
