Description

Gelato is one of the most famous and important strains from the West Coast of the United States. It is a cross between the Thin Mint phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies and Sunset Sherbert, bringing sweet, fruity and creamy flavours that have won over most consumers.

So it's no surprise that Cali was able to obtain the terpene profile of this genetics and replicate it so that it can be added to herbs, extracts and e-Liquids.

Gelato's Terpene profile

Each cannabinoid strain has about 45 different terpenes. It is the percentage of each component that varies the flavour and aroma. For Gelato, there are three terpenes that predominate over the rest: Beta-caryophyllene, D-Limonene and Linalool, in that order.

The distribution of these compounds affects not only the organoleptic properties, but also the effects produced by the fruit. Although the terpenes in Cali Terpenes do not possess cannabinoids or produce psychoactivity, it modulates the effects of cannabis.

Flavour and aroma of Gelato Terpenes

Cali Terpenes ensures the absence of any cannabic compound substances, this is due to the way they are obtained. Instead of extracting them from cannabis plants, they acquire them from other plants. This way, the flavours are the same, but without cannabinoids.
