Meet the marijuana nuns, straight out of California Central Valley. These ladies are known as the Sisters of the Valley. They are indeed real nuns, wearing the gear and everything. They live on a farm and have created their own monastery, with growing marijuana as their religion.
Even though these nuns don’t belong to any order nor do they preach catholic religion, they definitely feel an amazing level of spirituality and have a series of rituals that they follow, involving natural things like the Moon and the Earth. To them, marijuana is a religion due to how amazingly spiritual these plants are, and their only purpose is to help us improve our quality of life.

It’s a lucrative business
These “vocational nuns” are living on one of the most fertile areas in California and they dedicate their lives to growing marijuana and making all sorts of remedies that use cannabis as the main ingredient. All of those 100% organic products help people reduce symptoms of all sorts of illnesses; asthma, migraines, back pain, headaches and many more.
Along with coconut oil and other natural ingredients, the Sisters of the Valley make a kind of ointment that uses CBD (Cannabidiol) as its base ingredient, a non-psychoactive component in cannabis. They then distribute it through the post to the entire country.
Living the legal life
Now that cannabis has been legalized for medicinal and recreational use, these nuns are making the absolute most out of their new freedom. The Sisters of the Valley have their own ethics and moral code that guides them to grow marijuana plants. Even if these sisters aren’t really religious, I think everyone should be able to appreciate the hard work that they do; the products they make have helped so many people deal with horrible illnesses that can’t be cured or alleviated with certain modern medicines. Had you heard about them already?
