Improving sex with cannabis is definitely possible, or at least we know that it can definitely help with many processes involved in sexual relations; nerves, shyness, maybe even certain pains that are preventing you from getting intimate with your partner.
Marijuana contains cannabinoids, which are the main part of the substance that affects our bodies and minds. There are over 100 different types of cannabinoids, and each of them or groups of them can have certain effects on us. Depending on the issue you might be having when it comes to sex, you should be able to find the right cannabinoid or cannabinoids that can help you out.
Apart from cannabinoids, the amount you consume is also quite important; someone who consumes cannabis regularly is obviously much different than someone that has never tried it. Someone that’s used to consuming will need a higher dose because they’re much more tolerant than someone who hasn’t. If you’ve never tried it before you’ll need a much lower quantity than a regular smoker.
There are many different strains; indicas, sativas, even hybrids. Within each of those strains there are sub-strains that can modify their effects greatly. Extreme sativa or indica strains tend to be a bit too much, but a mix of the two can really do the job as long as the type that is dominant is the one you’re looking for to treat your issue.
Sativa strains have more of an active, aphrodisiac effect to them; this is perfect for people that are stressed and arrive home from work needing to forget about their troubles while also increasing their sexual appetite. 70% Sativa and 30% indica is generally a good mix for improving sex.
Of course, there’s always going to be a particular strain that works better than others, as well as different ways of consuming it. You might not be a smoker but you don’t necessarily have to smoke it. You can vaporize it or ingest it, you can even cook it into a recipe like the many delicious recipes we have on our blog. There are also creams that you can purchase that have a relaxing effect and they’re great for sensual massages.
There are many issues that can affect your sex life; stress, depression, distractions like work, studies, or just a bad day can ruin sex for you. If you seem to be struggling with this, then again, active and energizing strains are the ones for you thanks to the fact that they help you forget about your problems and live in the now. Strawberry Amnesia by Dinafem is the perfect sativa strain for this issue.
Enjoying sex is nothing new, and everyone should be able to do it regardless of stress or other issues like nerves or shyness. Sex can greatly improve your relationship with your partner, and it’s a great way to have fun together and create even more of a bond. Cannabis can help you enjoy orgasms more, whether you’re a man or a woman. It has been used in sex for thousands of years; the oldest evidence we have is from India, 3000 years ago, with tantric sex. Women would have orgasms of up to 15 minutes by absorbing cannabinoid extracts through they vaginas, as well as resins introduced straight into the vagina. It has often been said that cannabis is a woman’s Viagra.
A study done by Match.com claims that those who consume cannabis have a better sex life than those that don’t. This questionnaire was proposed to more than 5000 single Americans, regardless of whether they used match.com or not. They had to answer all sorts of questions about their sentimental and sex lives.
The conclusions they reached were kind of surprising:
- People that smoke cannabis have more orgasms. According to the study, single people that smoke marijuana have 109% more of a chance to have multiple orgasms.
- Stoners are more likely to be in a relationship. If you consume marijuana your 151% more likely to be in a relationship than if you don’t.
- They go on more dates. 58% of those doing the questionnaire stated that they smoke marijuana, and they also said that they had had at least one date in the last year.
- They’re not afraid of commitment. According to those to do the questionnaire, if you smoke cannabis you’re likely to actively look for commitment until the age of around 44.
So, now you know, it’s time to test the theory for yourself!
