Critical X by Apex Seeds is totally different from the Critical+ we’re used to here in Spain – it comes straight from California, where the first version of this famous strain was created. This strain was born over 35 years ago, and as time went by it began showing slight differences regarding the original Critical. To give this plant that special extra hint it needs, new generation plants have been selected and crossed, managing to improve upon the original effects that the first version had.

How to grow Critical X indoors
When grown indoors this strain is just perfect; plants from these seeds will grow out nice and balanced, and the time to yield ratio is really quite satisfactory. It has a thin structure, but it’s stronger than you think, and it has a long distance between nodes meaning that it doesn’t grow very many branches. This plant’s bud density is spectacular, growing giant heavy balls of bud that can give you up to 550g per square meter. With just 12 plants per square meter, you’ll get the absolute most yield possible out of this plant after just 9 flowering weeks.
How to grow Critical X outdoors
Outdoors, this plant grows much more than indoors, and you can get up to and over 1kg per plant without even needing that much experience growing. It’s highly resistant to low temperatures and fungi infestations, making it perfect to grow in pretty much any area – it’ll grow strong regardless of the weather you get! We recommend training this strain to make sure the branches can put up with the weight of the buds, as towards the end of the flowering period the buds will be pretty heavy and ready to harvest towards the beginning of October.
Critical X Flavors and Effect
The characteristic flavor of this strain has become the favorite of many growers, combining stronger citric flavors with the sweetest fruity hints. Keep in mind that this strain has around 20% THC, and it gives a happy and slightly heavy mental effect and ends up with a relaxing, physically heavy effect.
