Blue Dream is one of the most famous strains from the USA west coast. Its well-balanced indica-sativa ratio provides this plant with psychoactive yet relaxing effects. This 00 Seeds strain was created by crossing DJ Shot Blueberry with a short flowering exclusive Super Silver Haze.
Its origins go to California, where it was initially created with the objective of using its therapeutic properties to reduce pain, increase appetite or relieve anxiety. However, the different crossings have resulted in phenotypes with very different characteristics. 00 Seeds Blue Dream is a 55% sativa that offers the benefits of indica strains.

This strain performs better with the lollipop and the SCROG technique combined, as they force the plant to focus its energy on the top part, which will be very effective when growing 3 x 3 plants in 16 L pots using a 600 w lamp.
How to grow Blue Dream outdoors
If you opt to grow Blue Dream outdoors, keep an eye on its height, as its sativa aspect will come out and reach up to 2.5 m in height when grown in warm areas, therefore, it’s important to provide it with the necessary space for it to grow properly. Take into account that this strain is very easily spotted due to its size and eye-catching aspect.
The buds are big, compact and resinous, therefore, using plastic stakes will protect the branches from breaking during the flowering period. With the right parameters in order, Blue Dream can yield between 600-800 grams per plant when grown outdoors.
