Description

Everything about Lemon OG

Lemon OG, by 00 Seeds, was created by crossing Las Vegas Lemon Skunk (an elite Skunk #1 clone) with a Lime OG. The end result is a well-balanced strain with strong lemon flavors and a combination of sativa/indica effects.

Lemon OG effects

Lemon OG effects are quite potent thanks to its 21% of THC, therefore, the recommendation is to have a certain cannabis tolerance to not feel overwhelmed by its sensations. The initial high is quite common in sativas, but pleasant either way. It is also quite long-lasting, thus perfect to carry out recreational activities that require motivation and creativity.

Once its sativa effects start wearing off, the indica side comes in, providing intense and relaxing sensations that are perfect to relieve pain, increase the appetite or get a good night sleep. As with the rest of 00 Seeds, getting the timing right guarantees sativa effects in the evening and indica relaxation at night time.

Lemon OG flavor and aroma

You might be surprised, but the main aroma of this strain is…lemon. Citrus flavors are a constant throughout its consumption, although some phenotypes also display fruity and sweet flavors, but it isn’t that common.

This is because the main terpene of this strain is limonene. This compound offers intense lemon flavors and features energetic effects and antiinflammatory properties.

On the other hand, its Skunk background grants it strong aromas, which is worth taking into account if you are interested in discretion.

How to grow Lemon OG indoors

Lemon OG offers interesting yields when grown indoors. It is best not to give it more than 2 - 3 weeks of growth, as the extra push from the flowering period can affect the distribution in the grow room. Doing lollipopping and SCROG (3 x 3 in 16 L pots) can help boost the yield.

With proper cultivation conditions, Lemon OG, by 00 Seeds, can provide between 500 - 550 grams of resinous buds per square meter.

How to grow Lemon OG outdoors

As most sativas, Lemon OG does way better outdoors. Lemon OG can easily reach 220 cm tall, therefore, with enough sunlight, it will develop a strong and plague-resistant structure.

Using plastic stakes or nets will be of great help to control the height and to prevent the branches from breaking. Outdoors, it will be ready by the end of September, yielding between 500-700 grams per plant.
