Description
Wizard Trees presents Obsidian: RS power with dark flowers and premium gas
The Obsidian feminized seed from Wizard Trees is born to take the RS Collection to a new level. The cross between The Keeper (Zoap x RS11) and Black Magic results in a plant of medium-tall structure, with notable stretch and "RS golf ball" type buds completely covered in resin. Black Magic adds an extra layer of potency and trichome production, intensifying the aromatic profile and the impact on the palate.
Visually, Obsidian stands out for its dark purple, almost black hues with intense orange pistils, offering exceptional bag appeal. It is an easy-to-grow, low-maintenance variety with simple manicuring, ideal for both experienced growers and those looking for premium results without complications.
Effects of the Obsidian strain
The effect of Obsidian by Wizard Trees is powerful and enveloping. It begins with an intense, creative, and slightly euphoric cerebral high, typical of the RS11 lineage, which stimulates conversation and sensory perception. Within minutes, the indica load comes into play, providing a deep but functional physical relaxation.
Its high THC content (up to 28%) makes it a very potent genetic, recommended for users with medium-to-high tolerance. It can be useful for relieving stress, accumulated tension, or promoting rest in moderate doses. It is a variety designed to be enjoyed calmly and to appreciate every nuance.
Flavor and aroma of Obsidian by Wizard Trees
The terpene profile is one of Obsidian's great attractions. A sweet and creamy candy sherb aroma predominates, typical of the RS Collection, accompanied by a deep gassy base inherited from Black Magic. This combination generates a complex, sweet, and fuel-like bouquet at the same time.
Among the most prominent terpenes are limonene (sweet citrus notes), caryophyllene (spicy and deep touch), and myrcene (earthy and relaxing nuance). On the palate, it is intense, persistent, and with that gassy background that lingers after exhalation.
Cultivation of this strain indoors and outdoors
Indoors, Obsidian by Wizard Trees completes its flowering in approximately 9 weeks. It presents a medium-tall stretch, so height control through apical pruning or techniques such as SCROG is recommended. Production can reach 500–600 g/m² under optimal conditions.
Outdoors, it is ready for harvest at the end of September, offering yields that can be around 900 g per plant in temperate or dry climates. It is a resistant plant, low-maintenance in terms of nutrients, and easy to manicure thanks to its compact and well-formed structure.

I grew them indoor and the stretch is very manageable if you top them. I got rock-hard buds, the famous 'golf balls'. The resin production is crazy for extractions. The freebie seed for buying two packs was a really nice touch.

Las puse en interior y el estiramiento es muy manejable si haces poda. Me han salido unos cogollos duros como piedras, las famosas 'golf balls'. La resina que suelta es una locura para extracciones. Lo de la semilla de regalo por los dos packs fue un detallazo.

I was looking for something premium from Wizard Trees and Obsidian surprised me with its resistance. It hardly asks for nutrients and the result looks like it's straight out of a magazine, with those orange pistils popping against the dark purple. The package arrived in perfect shape and very discreet. 10/10.

Incredible color on these flowers, they turn almost black by the end of flowering. Wizard Trees never misses with RS genetics, the candy aroma with that hint of gas is out of this world. Very easy to trim and with a bag appeal that blows everyone away.
