Description
OG Kush Automatic is a new autoflowering strain from the seed bank White Label, featuring a genetic distribution of 75% indica and 25% sativa, as well as a compact, thick, and broad appearance. Another highlight of this prized non-photoperiodic strain from the Kush family is its pleasant citrus, spicy, and earthy flavors and aromas, accompanied by a diesel undertone that will delight us with every puff.
This autoflowering cannabis originally comes from the West Coast of the United States, more specifically from Northern California. Historically, the original OG Kush strain has been one of the most researched, crossbred, and sought-after among cannabis consumers and growers over the last decade.
The result of a cross between a Chemdawg cutting and a hybrid of the Lemon Thai and Pakistan Kush varieties, since its arrival in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles), it became one of the best-selling varieties both in the US and the rest of the world. Regarding its name, there is still debate as to whether it comes from "Ocean Grown" or "Original Gangster," the latter due to a mention in one of the songs by the music group Cypress Hill.
How to grow OG Kush Automatic cannabis seeds?
Learn to grow OG Kush Automatic indoors
For an autoflowering strain, its production is considerably voluminous, as it can reach up to 450 g/m². The flowering period is between 70 and 80 days from germination. We will get heavy, lime-green buds, covered in shiny and sticky resin. For indoor cultivation, we recommend a photoperiod of 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness to get the most out of our plants, as well as planting about 12 plants in 7-liter pots.
Learn to grow OG Kush Automatic outdoors
Outdoors, this cannabis plant performs best in sunny areas with temperate climates, preferably in spring and summer, as long as temperatures do not drop below 10°C. This easy-to-grow variety can yield better in 20-liter pots outdoors, with vegetative growth and a flowering stage of 70-80 days from germination. With proper care, we will achieve dry harvests of between 50 and 170 grams per plant.
Flavors and effects of the OG Kush Automatic seed
Flavor and aroma
Regarding its organoleptic properties, its aromatic and gustatory intensity is remarkable, far exceeding other automatic versions. Due to its strong smell, it is advisable to install carbon filters to ensure the discretion of our crops.
If we opt for this non-photoperiodic variety from White Label, we will enjoy a pronounced and refreshing citrus fragrance, with significant lemon and spicy undertones. In addition, depending on the developed phenotype, we will find other hints of black pepper and petroleum.
Effects
White Label's OG Kush Auto is a cannabis variety with greater relaxing powers than the original version, although it still maintains a slight sativa and euphoric percentage, typical of the OG family. With long-lasting effects, it can be used to relieve various cramps, headaches, hypertension, glaucoma, or sleep apnea, among many ailments.
