Description
Vermiculite for retaining humidity in substrates
Vermiculite Nº2 Properties
Vermiculite nº2 has different uses in the cultivation of marijuana. It is sort of expanded clay but not as hard that retains water up to 5 times its weight; therefore, if we add some vermiculite, it will be no problem to moist peats again –e.g. Canna Terra Professional 50 L- that are difficult to wet after they get dry. Other substrates that absorb better, as All-Mix by Biobizz, many not need to add them since they retain moisture far more.
Vermiculite N°2 Properties
If you mix it with soil do not exceed 5% the pot volume or you may have serious problems of humidity in the substrate, water excess and root rottenness due to a lack of oxygen; therefore, gbthegreenbrand.com recommends 2%.
Vermiculite nº 2 is also very much used in hydroponic systems as an inert substrate and similarly to the use of clay pebbles. This product is available in 125L sacks.
Discreet shipping.
