Girl Scout Cookies has undoubtedly become one of the most important genetics of the past decade. This delicious strain was born in 2012 in California and, a few years later, it already had different marked phenotypes that have reached similar levels of popularity to the original, such as OGKB or Forum.
Precisely, The Cali Connection seedbank decided to cross the latter two strains, giving rise to their own, although more productive and vigorous, Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mint. Due to its qualities, this strain has won several international awards, such as best Hybrid of the year 2013 at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam and at the High Times Medical Cup in Los Angeles.
Girl Scout Cookies effects
Girl Scout Cookies provides a long-lasting effect, especially on a physical level. This makes it ideal for use later in the day, either on your own or enjoying a get-together with friends.
Its THC levels are quite high, usually ranging between 20 and 25%. This characteristic makes it ideal for extractions such as BHO or Rosin, as it guarantees potent and very psychoactive concentrates for the most experienced consumers.
Girl Scout Cookies Flavour and aroma

Girl Scout Cookies by The Cali Connection grows considerably, despite its slight indica dominance. It is very important to control it in indoor grow tents, being very useful to use techniques such as pruning or SCROG (distributing 6 plants in 11/16 litre pots and guiding the stems between the meshes will reach quite high production levels).
However, in a basic grow, without training, this plant is capable of producing up to 400 grams per square metre at 9-10 weeks after switching to flowering.
How to grow Girl Scout Cookies outdoors
When growing outdoors, this strain develops a strong and vigorous structure that is capable of supporting a very large load of buds. All this is accompanied by a medium-long internodal distance that usually causes a very accentuated stretching, which will positively affect the development of flowers.
Therefore, we are dealing with an indica-dominant plant that nevertheless possesses many morphological characteristics of sativa strains. This structure allows the GSC to produce between 700 and 900 grams of flowers per plant to be harvested in mid/late October.
