Description

The 1475T is Tanita's most powerful pocket scale. This device measures up to 1200 grams with a minuscule margin of error (1 g from 0 to 500 g and 2 g from 500 to 1200 g), reaching unprecedented levels for a product of this size. In addition, it features a protective case that also serves as a base for weighing objects.

Furthermore, its LCD screen clearly displays any measurement taken, as well as various error codes, low battery, and mode changes. To switch between grams and ounces, this scale has a MODE button, while its TARE system allows multiple objects to be weighed consecutively without previous parameters influencing the result.

How to Use

Place the scale on a hard, smooth, and horizontal surface.
Press the ON/TARE button. The screen will display "8888" for two seconds. After this, it will change to 0, indicating it is ready for use.
Place the object on the scale. The screen will show the weight as long as it does not exceed 1200 g. In this case, the screen will display "EEEE".

Additional Explanations

TARE SYSTEM: After turning on the scale, place the case on the platform and press the ON/TARE button. The screen will return to "0". This way, multiple objects can be weighed individually, or a surface can be placed under the object to be measured without affecting its weight.
Automatic Shut-off: When the scale has finished weighing an object, it will automatically turn off after three minutes if no button is pressed afterward.
Battery Replacement: When the batteries are close to running out, "LO" will be displayed on the screen. Turn off the scale and replace them immediately.
Mode Change: To change the mode (if you have purchased the g/oz version), simultaneously press the ON/TARE and OFF buttons.

Instructions, Warnings, and Safety Measures

Do not disassemble the scale.
Do not subject the scale to strong vibrations or leave it exposed to intense sunlight.
A sudden change in temperature affects the accuracy of the device. In this case, wait 2 hours for it to acclimatize to the new environment.
Do not pour water or liquids into the unit.
Periodically clean the unit with a damp cloth.
Keep the unit away from heating appliances, ovens, ceramic hobs...
Leave the unit in a dry, cool, and dust-free place.
In case of constant errors or malfunctions, change the battery before contacting customer service. If necessary, place the device and its battery back in its box and prepare it for transport.
Do not place objects on the scale while it is turned off.
