NYC Diesel History
NYC Diesel from the Soma Seeds bank is a feminized strain that, as its name suggests, comes from New York. A friend of Soma's brought him some seeds from there, from a weed he claimed was the best he had ever tried. The genetics of this strain combine a Mexican Sativa with an Afghani. The result is a plant of intermediate height and a resistant structure. We can grow it both indoors and outdoors. It stands out for being a very exotic strain, and a winner of awards such as the 2nd place in the High Times Cannabis Cup for best Sativa, in 2001, 2003, and 2004.
Is NYC Diesel difficult to grow?
Growing NYC Diesel indoors
Indoors, we will have plants that adapt very well. They will grow to about one meter in height, which will allow us to grow them without problems of them reaching our 600W light. With about 12 plants per square meter, we will have the perfect number to leave no empty spaces. After about 11 weeks of flowering, our plants will be ready for harvest, yielding about 300 g/m² under a single light.
Growing NYC Diesel outdoors
If we grow it outdoors, its structure will be stronger than indoors, and it can easily exceed 2 m in height. With good sun and substrate to develop, our strains can show us their full potential. They can be grown in temperate zones, but they will also withstand cold zones without problems. Thanks to its cold resistance and its loosely compacted flowers, we will have a strain that will not easily get mold.
NYC Diesel offers a unique flavor and an incredible effect
This strain has a truly interesting flavor, as it has a smell-taste that reminds us of a ripe red grapefruit. The effect is also not far behind, as it produces an energetic state, perfect for going out and enjoying a getaway with friends, or for doing something that boosts your imagination.
