Correct calcium and magnesium deficiencies with Shogun Fertilisers CalMag
Shogun Fertilisers CalMag is a rich combination of Calcium, Magnesium, and Nitrogen, perfect for increasing EC in reverse osmosis or distilled irrigation water. It can also be used as a deficiency corrector and a stimulator for growth and flowering stages. This product is formulated with high-quality minerals and high concentrations, resulting in a high-performance product.
Cannabis needs calcium and magnesium for basic developmental processes: growth, photosynthesis, and nutrient movement throughout the plant. If the plant lacks these nutrients, we will likely get low and poor-quality yields, as they are vital for proper development. That's why Shogun CalMag is the ideal product; the minerals it contains are designed for rapid assimilation, providing visible results within 24 hours in cases of nutritional deficiencies. The addition of nitrogen and iron to the mixture makes this product more complete, helping to restore vitality and lost greenness. Furthermore, its versatility allows us to apply it via irrigation and/or foliar spray, with foliar application being the fastest option to correct deficiencies.
Nutritional uses for our plants with Shogun CalMag
CalMag is also perfect as an additive to raise the EC of the base water we work with, especially if it's distilled or reverse osmosis filtered water with an EC of 0.0. We simply need to add 1 to 2 ml/L to our irrigation water, mix well, and check the EC level until the desired level is reached, which is usually 0.4.

Dosage and use of Shogun CalMag:
- Apply 0.5 ml/L in hard water crops, from the 1st week of growth until root flushing begins.
- Apply 1 ml/L in soft water crops, from the 1st week of growth until root flushing begins.
- We can treat nutritional deficiencies with foliar application of Shogun CalMag. This process also increases phosphorus and potassium absorption.
- To raise the EC in reverse osmosis irrigation water, add 0.5 ml/L until the desired EC level (0.4) is reached.
