Description
Double Kush Cake is a feminized seed from Sensi Seeds, a reputable Dutch seeds bank. It has an indica/sativa ratio of 65%/35%. This strain is one of the best Kush varieties that was developed during the Sensi Seeds Research Project 2021.
This high yield plant comes from crossing Afghan #1, a very well-known strain, with another two fantastic ones, Skunk Kush and Hindu Kush. The result is a stress-resistant and easy to grow plant with a shrub and bulky appearance, heavy and dense buds, dark green leaves and wide leaflets.
It’s a perfect option for terraces and balconies because its moderate size ensures discretion. This special and new strain has earthy and sweet flavors and a clear top quality hash scent.
How to Grow Double Kush Cake Seeds
Learn to grow Double Kush Cake indoors
Double Kush Cake Feminized has a short 8-week flowering period after which it will yield around 350/400g./m2. You can increase your yield using different grow techniques like Lollipopping, which consists of removing the lower branches of the plant. By doing this, energy is directed to the colas and it promotes better bud development in the higher parts. It has to be done right before the start of the flowering period.
Learn to grow Double Kush Cake outdoors
When grown outdoors, this strain withstands all sorts of temperatures. You’ll obtain a yield of approximately 500g./m2 once cured and dried and it will be ready to harvest by mid of September.
Whether you want to grow directly in the ground or use flower pots, you should use a spongy high-quality substrate to facilitate the expansion and oxygenation of the root system. These substrates should be specially designed for cannabis grows and have at least some of these components: perlite, black moss, worm humus, white peat or bat guano, among others.
