Sour Ripper is undoubtedly one of the crowning jewels of the Ripper Seeds’ catalog. Born from a legendary Sour Diesel elite clone, this strain has successfully won many cannabis awards, achieving excellence in the extractions category (rosin, dry hash…). It was only a matter of time to have its own autoflowering version.
Sour Ripper Auto keeps all the qualities of its photoperiod-dependent version, which was one of the most coveted sativa strains, but with a shorter flowering period and an easiest crop management for indoor growing.
Sour Ripper Auto effects
Sour Ripper Auto is a sativa dominant strain (75%) that is able to reach up to 19% of THC levels (it rarely develops higher than 20% phenotypes). That’s why it’s considered a high potency strain, although the psychoactive effects aren’t overwhelming at all and it comes down gently and pleasantly.

That’s why growing this strain in indoor grow tents has become an easier task, being able to produce without any effort from 400g to 500g of elongated and stylized buds 9-10 weeks after germination.
How to grow Sour Ripper Auto outdoors
This Sour Ripper Auto strain loves the sun and will grow rather slim and be productive in areas where sunlight strikes uniformly its structure. Besides, its light and reduced foliage will let you obtain a high ratio of flowers/leaves, as well as having a considerable production, especially if you are growing during summer.
Lastly, the growing area must be studied since this sativa dominant can easily reach two meters in height under optimal conditions. Even so, this train is able to produce from 80g to 100g per plant 9-10 weeks after germination.
