Description
Green Gelato Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds is a strain that’s almost exactly like the strain it comes from, Green Gelato. It’s designed to offer one of the most smoked strains in the world in an easier to grow autoflowering format without losing out on strain strength, and they did it.
It comes from a combination between a green gelato and a Cookies Auto, which is used to add autoflowering genes to the mix. The resulting strain is a version of Green Gelato that’s just as aromatic and potent, with the advantage of being one of their most potent autoflowering strains and super easy to manage. It’s a great introductory strain for beginners!
Green Gelato Automatic RQS Grow
Growing Green Gelato Automatic Indoors
When it comes to growing indoors, the only issue that you might have with Green gelato is that it produces super potent aromas towards the end of the flowering period, which means you’re going to need to set up some sort of odor filter if you don’t want your neighbors getting annoyed. It’s not quite as potent as the original, but it’s still quite an impressive aroma.
It doesn’t tend to grow over 1.2m tall, although it does do well with typical newbie mistakes made by beginner growers. All you have to do is take care when it comes to watering, making sure not to drown out its small roots to start with. Around 70 days after germinating you should be able to harvest between 350g and 450g per square meter.
Green gelato Automatic Outdoor Grow
Like all autoflowering plants, Green gelato Automatic needs as many hours of sunlight as possible in order to produce the desired results. Outdoors you’ll be able to see its slight sativa dominance represented in its long, thin branches, which you might want to train in order to improve its structure and to not have any issues with strong winds.
This strain is capable of producing a super-thick layer of resin from which you can make your very own extracts at home. After 9 – 10 weeks you should be able to harvest between 100 and 175 grams per plant. We highly recommend using organic preventive products to keep insects at bay; they love its potent aroma. Neem Boom is a great way to protect your plants.
Green Gelato Automatic Aroma and Effect
Many people think that autoflowering strains are much less potent than seasonal strains, but Green gelato Automatic is here with its amazing 24% THC percentage to break the stereotype. This strain is definitely not recommended for beginners or those that don’t consume cannabis habitually. It produces a clear physical effect in those that can tolerate its intense effect. It’s perfect for meeting friends or social occasions, and you’ll be able to feel its effect just a few seconds after taking a couple of hits.
It has a citric, intense aroma; when smoked, it’s much sweeter and incredibly earthy, lingering on the taste buds for a while.

Amazing taste! Really, so delicious. And a really good high, you know? It doesn't couch-lock you, but relaxes you nicely. Super happy with this one, no doubt.

Brutal growth, without a doubt. I thought that being an auto it wouldn't yield much, but the production surprised me, I'm blown away! The buds are super dense. Honestly really happy with this strain. Just one note, it took a bit longer than what it said in the description, but nothing serious.
