The Neptune Grow Bed 60x60x40 cm offers a square surface and 40 cm of depth for those looking to work with a continuous volume of substrate without occupying too large a growing area.
Its maximum capacity is approximately 144 liters, providing roots with more space to develop than in several small pots and creating a particularly interesting environment for Living Soil systems.
The combination of breathable geotextile and a modular white PVC structure keeps the bed stable, aerated, and ready for both indoor installations and terraces, patios, or outdoor growing areas.
144 liters of continuous space for roots
Its dimensions of 60 × 60 × 40 cm are equivalent to an approximate maximum geometric capacity of 144 liters.
This volume allows for maintaining a large and relatively stable substrate mass, which is particularly interesting in living soil cultivation, where humidity, roots, and microbial activity share the same environment. The actual amount of substrate may be slightly less depending on the filling and the margin left at the top.
Breathable geotextile and natural air pruning
The bed is made of high-density breathable geotextile, facilitating air exchange around the root zone.
When roots reach the fabric walls and come into contact with the air, natural air pruning is promoted, reducing the tendency to spiral and stimulating a more branched root structure.
Modular PVC structure
The geotextile is held in place by a white PVC structure, which is moisture-resistant, lightweight, and easy to clean. Its modular system allows the Grow Bed to be assembled without tools and also to add additional tubes when an upper structure or a guiding mesh is to be installed.
