Seal your Pipes and Avoid Leakages with the 25 mm End Plug
When you create several polyethylene lines of pipe, you have to close the ends where the installation stops. Sometimes people tend to bend the end of their pipes and clamp them, which can cause leaks. Use a Waterproof Plastic Sheeting to protect the floor of your grow area.
Now you can purchase end plugs to seal your irrigation piping in a 100% reliable way. They are very easy to put in place and can be used to access the inside of the hose for cleaning & de-blocking.
How to put an end plug for 25 mm pipes in place:
- Unscrew it and look carefully at the order and position of the different pieces.
- If everything is ok, you should have 5 components. The large screw thread, a collar, a plastic washer and a rubber joint, and a male thread.
- First, you must insert the large thread inside the pipe.
- Then, you must put the collar on it without pressing down too much (or it will be hard to remove afterwards).
- After that, you must place the plastic washer and the rubber joint. There mustn't be more than 1 cm of pipe sticking out from the rubber joint.
- Check everything is fine and screw it tight.
- If something doesn't fit, don't force it. Take it out and start again.
