Description
The Milwaukee PH Soil Tester is perfect to measure soil parameters. This acidity tester with an included probe provides very precise measures. This great quality product offers precise results in only a few seconds.
A very efficient portable tester
This pH tester includes a probe with a 1 meter cable to be able to use it in agricultural or hydroponic crops. It has been made with great quality materials for best accuracy. The results are easy to read thanks to its large screen, perfect to interpret the parameters without any extra effort.
How to use the Milwaukee PH Soil Tester
- Connect the electrode to the plug located on top of the tester.
- Calibrate it before each use.
- Dip the pH electrode (2.5 cm) for a few minutes in the provided solution.
- To turn it on press the on/off button.
- Wait until the data stabilizes before proceeding to test the soil
- Before testing: obtain soil from various areas of 20-30 cm depth. The sample must be homogeneous, without pebbles or organic residues. Mix the soil sample with two parts of distilled water, mix for a few minutes and let it sit for another 5.
- When you are done, turn off the tester, add a few drops of preservation solution to the cap and put it on the electrode.
How to calibrate it:
Remove the electrode cap and dip it in a pH 7.01 calibration solution sachet. Wait until the data stabilizes and then adjust to 7.0. Repeat the process with the pH 4.01 sachet. Once all of this is done, the device is calibrated and ready to use. For best results, calibrate the device at least once a month, after a long time without using it or after changing the electrodes.
