Description
B+ AK47 is the result of a long period of selection among the phenotypes of the B+ variety. After an exhaustive process, it has been possible to increase the speed of colonisation and fruiting of the well-known strain, while increasing the size and vigour.
In fact, the name "AK 47" was added because of the strength of the head and foot of these mushrooms, as they can withstand blows, falls, and shocks without breaking or cracking.
Morphology of B+ AK47
As already mentioned, the cultivation of these mushrooms provides large individuals, reaching 20 centimetres in height and 6 cm in width (including the cap). They are also visually very similar to the Amazonian variety, with a spherical amber cap and a slender, white stem.
How to grow and harvest AK47 B+ mushrooms?
Another feature, prioritised in this selection process, is its ease of growing. This variety can germinate optimally between 20 and 33 degrees, a much higher range than the rest of the existing strains.
If grown under favourable conditions and with proper cleaning of the chosen location, between 5 and 6 harvests can be obtained for each loaf of mushrooms. As can be seen, production has also been improved compared to the cultivation of the common B+.
At harvest time (between 12 and 17 days after the beginning of the process), each mushroom should be twisted with the fingers, leaving the base of the stalk, which will help the mushroom loaf to fruit again.
Effects B+ AK47
It should be remembered that this mushroom loaf can only be used for mycological studies; under no circumstances to be consumed. However, for reasons of health and awareness, it is relevant to point out the effects that would be experienced if accidentally ingested:
- Long-lasting hallucinogenic trip (8-10 hours).
- High body burden
- Strong visual effects
- Very intense mental disturbance
- In addition to the effects of psilocybin, the psychedelic sensations caused by baeocystin will also be felt with this strain.
The B+ AK47 kit contains
The B+ AK47 kit comes with a pot containing potting soil and the spores inoculated into it. However, it does not include a greenhouse bag. This is because the B+ AK 47 has been specifically designed to offer its maximum potential in larger media, such as a propagator, which ensures optimal mushroom development and allows the bread to be reused for multiple harvests. To achieve this and maximise production, it is recommended to use the GB Mushroom growing kit.
