Description
At GB The Green Brand, we are proud to launch our first strain of psilocybe. GB Magic Mushroom is a cross between two of the best-known and most prized genetics for fungus lovers, resulting in a genotype that is vigorous, hardy, and more powerful than its parents.
This strain is perfect for analysing its growth, observing the mycelium, and understanding its evolution. In short, the GB Kit has been designed so that all mycologists in the world can enjoy a strain that will be a milestone in the hallucinogenic mushroom scene.
GB variety morphology
In terms of appearance, the specimens are characterised by their attractive caramel-brown heads, as well as their white stem, which can show blue spots when handled; therefore, experts agree that this is a beautiful strain.
The height reached, in optimal conditions, is 20-25 centimetres, and the diameter is between 30 and 50 mm; its vigorous pruning ensures abundant production at each harvest.
GB magic mushrooms’ growing and harvesting
Growing this variety is simple, provided that the humidity and temperature parameters necessary for the germination of the individuals are respected. In particular, it is crucial to maintain an environment of between 22 and 27 degrees. If you follow instructions to the T, this mushroom is capable of offering up to 6 harvests.
GB’s strain effects
It should be remembered that these mushrooms are only intended for mycological studies. They are not suitable for consumption after germination. However, for health reasons and information purposes, some aspects of this genetics should be mentioned.
The GB strain has considerable potency due to its high levels of psilocybin. In addition, this variety also contains alkaloids, such as baeocystine or aeruginascens, which are responsible for the effects experienced.
The accidental ingestion of these magic mushrooms can cause the following effects after 20/30 minutes:
- Alteration of the perception of reality.
- Euphoria feeling
- Strong physical effects.
- Intense introspective reflection.
GB Magic Mushroom Kit content
This kit includes a tupperware with substrate and the spores inoculated in it. However, it does not include a greenhouse bag for growing mushrooms. It should be noted that using a propagator is essential to develop mushrooms optimally, as this medium avoids condensation and lack of oxygen that can occur with the growing bag. To achieve this and maximise production, we recommend obtaining the GB Mushroom Gtowing Kit.
On the other hand, one of the differential characteristics of this kit is that the tupperware is black. In this way, the light will only reach the upper part of the culture medium, favouring the uniform growth of the mushrooms. This quality is very important because, in transparent tupperwares, the light can penetrate the sides and develop individuals in those areas, forcing the grower to remove the substrate from the tupperware to remove them. In addition, if these mushrooms are not eliminated, the bread will be contaminated and cannot be cultivated again. Therefore, the addition of black tupperware is ideal to avoid this problem.
- The tupperware has a capacity of 1.5 litres.
