Description
Spore Syringe: more harvests, more control, less contamination
Spore syringes are an essential tool in any mushroom grower's arsenal, providing an efficient and effective way to propagate spores in a substrate to produce abundant harvests. Each syringe contains millions of spores suspended in 20 milliliters of sterilized water, ensuring maximum viability and colonization potential.
These syringes are widely used because of their numerous advantages over traditional growing methods. In fact, they are a valuable investment for any amateur or expert mushroom grower, as they offer an efficient and reliable way to produce quality mushrooms.
In addition, their lifetime can reach up to 2 years if stored in the refrigerator, making them an economical choice for maintaining a steady stream of mushrooms over an extended period. With less risk of contamination and a high success rate, these syringes are an ideal tool.
Method of use
- Cleaning: Before starting, make sure the growing area is clean and free of contaminants, paying close attention to the growing medium that will be used as substrate, and wash your hands thoroughly. This spore syringe kit includes a wipe to clean
- Attach the needle: In the kit, you will find a sterile needle that you must attach to the syringe. This is done to safeguard the quality of the elements and decrease the possibility of contamination.
- Inoculation: Find the injection point and evenly insert the contents of the syringe. It is important to rotate while inoculating the spores to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the substrate.
- Growing: From this point on, you must be patient. Let the mycelium, the network of filaments of the fungus, colonize the substrate. This may take several weeks, depending on the type of mushroom you are growing. Once the mycelium has colonized the substrate, continue with the usual process.

I had a slight contamination issue on a couple of substrates, though I think it was more on me during inoculation. The syringe looked fine.

The order arrived fine, but I haven't seen much activity in the substrate yet. How long does Golden Teacher usually take to fully colonise?

El pedido llegó bien, pero aún no he visto mucha actividad en el sustrato. ¿Cuánto tiempo suele tardar la Golden Teacher en colonizar a tope?
