Liquid Silicon by Growth Technology Strengthens Plants' Structure and Cell Walls
Liquid Silicon by Growth Technology is an additive that’s used in your base fertilizer for hydroponic and aeroponic plants due to its silicon content. It also helps plants to grow a much stronger structure, capable of holding up heftier and larger plants.
Plants generally obtain silicon from their substrate, as it’s in soil and coco and similar peat substrates. However, plants in hydroponic or aeroponic systems will definitely need a supplementary dosage of silicon. Sometimes it can be added to normal substrates if they don’t have enough silicon. When growing in coco coir, make sure to check the substrate and see if it contains silicon; if not, we recommend using some Liquid Silicon.
Liquid Silicon Promotes Healthier Plants and Better Nutrients' Absorption
Silicon plays an important part in transporting nutrients around your plants, thickening out roots and growing thicker cell walls. When growing hydroponically, you can use a GSE Watering Timer, and you will absolutely need to add some silicon if you want your plants to grow successfully – they’ll be more efficient at a long list of processes such as nutrient distribution.
You can use it in soil too in order to increase your plants strength or for fighting stressful situations such as excessive heat or after an insect infestation.
Dosage and how to use Liquid Silicon by Growth Technology:
- Use 0.5 ml per liter of water in your tank or any growing method.
- You can increase the quantity to 1 ml per liter if you’re using pure osmosis or filtered water.
