Everything about Lemongrass
Lemongrass effects
This strain produces an energetic high despite its indica dominance. It provides pleasant sensations while retaining mental clarity, therefore, it is suitable for any moment of the day. Perfect to carry out recreational activities or to enjoy an evening with friends.
Lemongrass flavors
As its name indicates, Lemongrass offers a characteristic lemon aroma due to its juicy terpenes, such as myrcene and limonene. Its fruity fragrance also displays Diesel touches with a bitter background. A unique and tasty combination that lasts for a long time in the mouth and fulfills the environment with intense and delicious aromas.
How to grow Lemongrass indoors
Lemongrass produces huge strong plants with a hybrid vigor. Its bushy morphology responds very well to all sorts of pruning techniques. Indoors, this easy to grow strain can yield up to 500 grams per square meter after flowering for 50 days, as long as it receives all the care it requires.
How to grow Lemongrass outdoors
This hybrid is very resistant to illnesses, mold and fungi. Outdoors, it can yield up to 600 grams per plant with proper care. It produces aromatic and dense flowers coated with a thin layer of resin. Its harvest time ranges between the 20th of September and the 5th of October in the northern hemisphere.
Lemongrass is an indica feminized seed with high THC levels that was born by crossing Humboldt Gelato and Lemon Kush Bx3. It is very resistant to plagues and emanates lemon aromas that will charm lovers of citrus strains.

Really top strain. Had great growth in a pot, easily grew past 1.50 m outdoors. On the other hand, from the 4th week of flowering it gets hungry for nutrients, keep an eye on it.

Do you use fresh or dried lemongrass for tea? What is the best technique to dry it without losing too much aroma?

I planted it two years ago, in the ground, in a nice sunny spot. It got huge! Like a small, really dense bush. The secret is watering it well at the start and giving it space. The smell at the end of the day is just pure bliss. I cut it regularly for herbal teas. A real treat!

Out of 5 seeds, only 2 germinated. A bit disappointed this time.

Sur 5 graines, seulement 2 ont germé. Un peu déçu pour le coup.

Planted the seeds 3 weeks ago, growing well. For pruning, how do you make it bushier? Any ideas?

My lemongrass is growing fine, but I feel like it's lacking a bit of vigor. Would it be recommended to add a specific nutrient for herbs? Or maybe a different substrate?
