Description
Easily germinate your seeds and obtain good cuttings with Root It Natural Rooting Sponges
Root It Natural Rooting Sponges are biodegradable, organic sponges that allow you to easily root and germinate clones and seeds. They’re rectangular in shape with a double hole on the top, and come in brown color with a smooth/spongey texture.
These biodegradable supply a peat and shell mix to feed your seeds and cuttings
When using these particular seedling plugs you’ll notice a dramatic change in your success rate if you’ve tried to clone plants before and had issues. They’ll root much faster, gaining a few days in the process which can be a great help.
They’re made out of an organic mix of peat and bark and vegetable polymers which give them the perfect texture; they’re more breathable more than classic coco coir Jiffy pellets.
The larger hole is for putting the seed in, and the smaller hole is just underneath it, which is used for putting the stem from your cuttings.
Root It Natural Rooting Sponges avoids yield loss thanks to its 100% natural components
If you decide to go with these plugs for germinating or cloning your mother plant, we recommend ripping off one of the corners a bit to cover up the hole if you’re germinating a seed or to help keep your cutting steady. Perfect for Propagator + Tray Kit.
When germinating, make sure that you’ve drained out all excess water so that they don’t rot – you can squeeze them softly using your hands, just like jiffy plugs.

They are awesome for germinating, huh? But one question, can I use them in hydroponics too or only with normal substrate? Let's see if anyone knows.
