Gray grow table; a tray that will collect all the excess irrigation water from your plants and take it to a drain.
How to use the Gray Grow Table
- We will have to place it inclined so that all the water goes to the drain by gravity, either in a structure that we make ourselves or with one of the grow table supports available on our page.
- In the bottom hole of the support, we can place a tank to collect the excess water.
- If we grow in soil, that water is of little use other than to water other garden plants, but we can easily make a hydroponic system with this tray.
- If we want, we can use it as a hydro tray; we just have to place our Slabs directly in the tray.
- Below we place the tank and the irrigation system, when the water drains from the Slabs it will return to the tank. This way we will have a simple system to get started in the hydro world.
Grow all kinds of crops with the Gray Grow Table
You can grow with coco or rock wool slabs; these are the most used tables in crops all over the world. If you grow in coco, you should not recirculate the water as the drippers tend to get clogged with small pieces of the coco substrate. It is recommended to use an irrigation mat to prevent the growth of fungi or algae under the Slabs.
