pH Down by GHE is a product designed to increase acidity in your nutrient solution so that your plants can absorb as many nutrients as possible, thanks to its nitric and phosphoric acid as well as its organic adjusters.
Acidity is incredibly important in your plants, because if they don’t have the right acidity in their soil or water, they won’t be able to absorb nutrients at all. The perfect pH for your plants is between 5.3 and 6.5, depending on what phase they’re in and the substrate you’re growing them in. Use a Wassertec PH Meter With Sensor for accurate measures.
How to Use Ph Down by GHE
If you want to lower the pH you’ll need a specific kind of acid to do so; pH Down by General Hydroponics Europe adjusts the pH ever so slightly, so that it doesn’t have a negative effect after too long.
Dosage and how to use pH Down by GHE:
- Measure the pH in your water.
- If you need to lower it, add a few drops and mix.
- Measure the pH again.
- Make sure to do this process very slowly or else you may lower the pH too much.
