Description
The Mimosa Cocktail by GB Strains is a highly productive feminized seed born from the cross Purple Punch 2.0 × Clementine, designed for those seeking a mimosa marijuana with a fruity-citrus profile and high yield indoors and outdoors. If you've landed here searching for "mimosa weed" or "mimosa marijuana," this is one of those genetics that stands out for its balance: a punch in potency and presence, but with a structure and cultivation response that make it easy to achieve large harvests without complications.
From Purple Punch, it inherits part of its color and intensity, while Clementine adds resistance and a livelier citrus touch. The result: juicy flowers, a persistent aroma, and a plant that responds very well to branch training and stable watering/ventilation routines.
How to grow Mimosa Cocktail marijuana seeds?
Growing Mimosa Cocktail indoors
Indoors, due to its Sativa influence, it has the ability to form branched and airy structures, responsible for a notable production of buds around its central flower. With adequate density and reinforced square pots, high yields can be achieved, with a harvest that usually arrives after 65–70 days of flowering.
Practical checklist to get the most out of it without "inventions":
- If it stretches more than expected: open branches early (gentle LST) and control growth with training; improve light in middle areas and avoid "shady" tips.
- If you're looking for more uniform buds: distribute the height (simple training/SCROG) so the plant works "level."
- If you want fattening without dulling flavor: in the final stretch, use organic PK in moderation (better to complement than to saturate).
- If you're concerned about humidity during flowering: prioritize constant ventilation and avoid late watering; the goal is for air to "circulate" inside.
If the crop is for self-consumption, organic PK fertilizers during the final phase can help fatten buds. These animal or plant-based products provide phosphorus, potassium, and other useful elements during the fattening stage. Similarly, you can use stakes or training to direct growth and support branches when they start to bear weight.
Growing Mimosa Cocktail outdoors
Outdoors, its plants can grow to more than 2 meters, with a structure formed by resistant branches, which we can stake to provide security and secure its incredible production, which can reach 1 kg/plant.
Mimosa Cocktail resists most climates, so it can be considered an interesting option for novice growers, although it usually performs especially well in temperate climates. The estimated harvest is in late September, which is why final care against caterpillars, other pests, and the climate itself becomes important.
End-of-season tip: the final stretch matters. If your area has humid nights or rain near harvest:
- check dense flowers more frequently (internal areas),
- avoid overly closed leaf masses (better aeration),
- and ensure support before weight bends branches.
Flavors and effects of the Mimosa Cocktail seed
Flavor and aroma
Both the aroma and flavor of the Mimosa Cocktail variety can be considered totally fruity, as it contains different intense nuances of red fruits, as well as certain citrus touches, which allow them to linger in the mouth for a long time. As an energizing variety, its use is recommended for any time of day.
How to preserve the "citrus": citrus notes are more volatile. If you dry too quickly or with heat, they are lost sooner. A slower and more controlled drying usually better maintains the aromatic profile and flavor punch.
Effects
Regarding the effects of this incredible cannabis variety from GB Strains with high THC levels, having a fairly balanced Sativa/Indica combination, it usually starts with euphoric, energizing, and creative sensations, and as the hours pass, evolves into a pleasant relaxation. It is a variety that many people prefer for moments when they want an active start and a calmer finish.
Which version to choose?
If you are comparing Mimosa seeds and want to choose according to your objective:
- I want the classic and productive feminized Mimosa: Mimosa Cocktail (this product sheet).
- I want speed and discretion: an auto version usually fits better.
- I want an even more pronounced citrus: look for versions/crosses focused on citrus terpenes.
Important data of the Mimosa Cocktail variety
- Sativa/Indica: 60/40%
- Flowering: 9-10 weeks indoors and late September outdoors.
- Height: 0.8-0.9 m (2.6-3 ft) indoors and 1.8-2.2 m (5.9-7.2 ft) outdoors.
FAQs about Mimosa Cocktail GB
Is Mimosa Cocktail good for small indoor spaces?
Yes, especially if you train branches early and control stretching with LST or gentle training.
Does it smell a lot during flowering?
It can be intense due to its fruity and citrus profile; indoors, proper ventilation and good filtering help maintain discretion.
Is "mimosa weed" the same as "mimosa marijuana"?
In practice, yes: they are ways of referring to the same genetics or variety in different languages or searches.
Is outdoor harvest always in late September?
It is a common reference, but it can vary depending on climate and latitude; it is advisable to monitor actual maturity and late summer conditions.

I got it as a freebie and this plant has been through a war, after managing to bring it back I'm amazed by the smell it gives off, it says it's harvested at the end of September but this year outdoor is way behind schedule, right now it's in almost its fourth week of flowering and I think it'll be ready around mid-October, considering it's sativa-dominant it doesn't surprise me at all that it finishes in mid-October but it's giving off a very good smell, it reminds me a bit of Jack Herer smell-wise not identical but it has some similar smell tones, it pleasantly surprised me. I'll let you know the final result ?

Bought two, one germinated and the other didn't, but that was my fault. I have it in my indoor tent in its 2nd week of flowering and I couldn't be happier honestly, alongside 3 other Kritical from the freebies with orders and a Strawberry Lemonade from a well-known bank that cost me a fortune, and it's not the first time this happens to me, growbarato ones turn out better for me, whether the freebies or the ones they've brought out themselves now, than any other seed from any well-known bank costing twice as much. Honestly, in that regard you never stop surprising me in a good way, it's not the first comment I get like 'seriously, you're gonna plant that? If it's free it's for a reason, who knows what'll come out of that', and I can say they're well worth it, just as much or more than any well-known bank.
