Description
Auto Grand Daddy Purple XXL was created by crossing Grand Daddy Auto Purple Auto x Purple Haze Auto, two very prestigious strains, in order to offer a premium quality alternative to growers that seek the largest possible yield in a short space of time.
This cross holds certain characteristics inherited from its predecessors. Grand Daddy Purple grants it great performance and unique flavors, while Purple Haze provides it with abundant branches, long colas full of incense-flavored buds and a well-balanced psychoactive effect.
Growing Auto Grand Daddy Purple XXL
How to grow Auto Grand Daddy Purple XXL outdoors
This strain is highly suitable for guerrilla grows due to its unusual resistance to harsh climates. With proper fertilizing schedules, it can produce great yields.
With optimum care and cultivated during the hot months of the year, it can reach up to 1.2 m in height, full of secondary long and resistant branches . As long as it receives the right amount of N-P-K, its branches will grow tons of buds, during the flowering period, that will get stuck together forming large colas full of resin. With this strain, it’s easy to surpass 170 g of dry yield.
To carry out guerrilla grows, it’s advisable to use a nutrient-rich substrate and to add guano, humus and polymers to the mixture. For best results, it’s best to grow during spring and summer months, under a very specific nutrition regime. Boom Nutrients Autoflowering kit will make this task way easier, as it includes a root stimulant, a base fertilizer for the entire growth cycle, a flower booster and sugars. All of this guarantees amazing results.
Remember to use enzymes and regulate pH and EC levels when watering the plants.
How to grow Auto Grand Daddy Purple XXL indoors
This autoflowering cultivar is a great indoor option as it will be ready for harvest 11 weeks after its germination, without giving up on the flavor or quality that traditional feminized seeds offer.
The best indoor results have been obtained under the following conditions: 25 plants in 7 L pots in a 1.2 m2 area and a 600W lamp. For the first 30 days, we used a MH bulb, switching afterwards to a HPS flowering bulb with a 20/4h lighting schedule non-stop. 10 weeks later, each plant yielded 20 g on average, with a total production of 500 g. The quality of the flowers was higher than expected.
