K1 aka Kalité Tizane regular by French Touch Seeds is a well-known strain from Reunion Island, also known as Kality Tizane, Kality, or Taffe. It is the result of a breeding and stabilization process carried out for over a decade by a renowned group of local growers, with the intention of get rid of the percentage of hermaphrodite plants in the offspring to a minimum, reaching a reduced 5%. The result is a fairly stable landrace, capable of producing very abundant harvests with a very potent and psychoactive effect. This strain is not recommended for inexperienced growers or smokers unaccustomed to such powerful effects.

How to grow K1 aka Kalité Tizane indoors
Indoors, this strain is practically uncontrollable as it is a pure sativa. Therefore, the ideal approach is to grow one plant per m² and use SCROG, or to take cuttings and grow a large number per m² without giving them vegetative growth days. This way, yields exceeding 450 g of highly psychoactive cannabis can be obtained. Its feeding also needs to be carefully studied and managed precisely, as these types of landraces tend to feed lightly, progressively, and over a long period, given that their flowering period exceeds 100 days. Remember that if you don't have experience with this type of genetics, you could end up with a jungle in your grow area, with plants over 1.50 m tall.
How to grow K1 aka Kalité Tizane outdoors
Outdoors, its cultivation is simpler, although it can seem endless. Therefore, the best thing to do is to prepare the soil by adding quality substrate and slow-release organic products, along with different types of fungi and bacteria. This ensures a progressive supply of nutrients, allowing the plant to absorb them without problems of blockages or over-fertilization. With these tips, plants can exceed 3 meters in height and yield close to one kilogram of dry flowers, although this requires waiting until mid-November.

The flavor and aroma of this pure sativa are very pungent and clearly reminiscent of lemon, fruits, and have a very special touch that can be appreciated when inhaling without combustion and in the aftertaste, which is very similar to chili peppers.
