Buddha Skunk is considered one of the most planted indica-dominant hybrids in the world of cannabis. Buddha Seeds has decided to pay homage to the original legendary strain by creating their very own version, which manages to maintain the original’s most interesting and important characteristics.
Originating in the US in the 70s, Skunk travelled to Holland in the year 1982. Using this strain, many different cannabis strains have been bred – and Skunk is now one of the most well-known strains among cannabis growers and consumers.
Skunk has quite a dense history, and has made its presence somewhat permanent on the cannabis market. This legendary strain comes from a traditional Skunk #1 hybrid, which comes from a combination between an Acapulco Gold, Colombian Gold and Afghan.

This strain is considered one of the best strains available for indoor growing thanks to its genetic makeup. It’s quite a small plant that produces short branches with hard, average-sized buds. If you give this strain the right care you can harvest up to 550g/m2 after about 65-70 flowering days. It can grow to around 1m tall.
It has quite an intensely strong aroma, so we recommend using anti-odor filters when growing indoors. One of the best things about this Skunk plant is its wide variety of phenotypes that it can produce. Some of them are sativa-dominant and produce dense, thick buds that go from green to gold. There are also other phenotypes with slight variations that are more indica-dominant, producing larger yields and a more balanced effect.

When growing this strain outdoors it can produce an amazing 1kg per plant, making it ideal for harvesting around mid-to-end of October. These plants can grow up to 2m outdoors when given enough space, producing amazing pistils and buds that will end up covered in resin.
